Oktay is a Mechanical Engineering graduate with over 15 years of experience specialising in thermal and mechanical design. He began his career as an R&D Engineer working in 3D metal prototyping, creating innovative and non-traditional components, including bespoke jewellery (though never made from gold!). Over the years, Oktay has developed strong expertise in thermal system design and analysis, with a keen focus on delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements and aspirations.
Since relocating to the UK in 2019, Oktay has worked as a consultant on a wide range of complex thermal and mechanical projects across various industries. His ability to combine technical precision with commercial awareness means he not only solves engineering challenges but also helps clients to optimise costs and enhance their energy efficiency.
Based in Cambridge, Oktay balances his professional career with a busy family life alongside his wife, young daughter, and energetic son. In his downtime, he enjoys swimming, a hobby that takes him back to the clear waters of Turkey’s Aegean coast and helps him reset and refocus.
