Approximately ten years after completing an earlier phase of works at the Blue Cross Southampton rehoming centre, we were delighted to be invited back to assist with further redevelopment works across the site.
The project involved the conversion of former kennels into a modern veterinary facility and associated holding areas, together with the installation of new UPVC kennelling for both dogs and cats. The existing isolation wing was also refurbished and upgraded, whilst new extensions were constructed to provide an enlarged admissions wing, additional kennelling facilities, and expanded reception and office accommodation.
The works formed part of the continued development of the centre, helping to improve operational efficiency whilst enhancing welfare standards for the animals in the charity’s care.
